Benefits - See what we have to offer

  • MANAGEMENT VACATION AND PERSONAL TIME
Vacation & Personal Time Off Vacation pay is available to all of our full-time managers. Full-time is defined as working over 32 hours per week or a minimum of 1600 hours per year. Anyone failing to meet these criteria will be considered part-time and would receive the same benefit package as crew. Personal time is available to all salaried managers. In addition to two weeks of paid vacation time each salaried manager will be allowed an additional two days per year for personal time/sick time off. Any personal time not used by the end of the year will be lost. When personal time is taken by a salaried manager, it becomes the responsibility of the Store Manager to notify their Supervisor/Operational Manager of the person taking time off. Also, if a manager takes over the allotted P.T.O. it is the responsibility of the Store Manager to notify their Supervisor/Operational Manager and Donna of it. Note: Once you have used the allotted time off (within the current calendar year) listed on the chart below then pay will be deducted for any time missed. For example: A Store Manager that has been in position 3 years takes his/her allotted 10 days of vacation time and needs 5 sick/personal days in the year… In this example, the manager has taken a total of 15 vacation/p.t.o. days. They have an allotment of only 12 days (see chart below). Therefore, three days pay would be deducted from their pay check for missed time. Eligibility for those who qualify will be as follows: AFTER 1 YEAR AFTER 2 YEARS AFTER 5 YEARS STORE MANAGER 10 + 2 DAYS 10 + 2 DAYS 15 + 2 DAYS SALARIED MANAGER 10 + 2 DAYS 10 + 2 DAYS 10 + 2 DAYS HOURLY MANAGER 5 DAYS 10 DAYS 10 DAYS NOTE: Vacation time will be based on your C.S.D. (Company Service Date) which is the date that you became a full-time employee with the Burrell organization. • It will be the responsibility of the manager taking his/her vacation to ensure that the payroll department has been notified. Notification must be in writing, signed by the Store Manager and faxed, on a Payroll Information Form, to the payroll department. If vacation pay is missed, it will go on the next payroll. • Vacation plans should consider the business needs of the restaurant. The Owner/Operator reserve the right to cancel or change the dates of a vacation, if he feels that the scheduled vacation would place undue hardship on the restaurant. • In the event of conflicting vacation plans, priority shall be given to the earliest submitted request. • Vacations must be taken in one-week increments. • Vacations are not cumulative and must be taken in the year in which they are earned. • Managers will not be paid for unused vacation remaining at the end of their vacation year. • Vacations will be paid in the week they are taken. • No allowance will be made for sickness occurring during a scheduled vacation. • Upon termination of employment, any remaining vacation time will be prorated, based on the number of months worked. • Vacation pay will be given based on the average hours the employee worked over the last twelve month period. A maximum of 40 hours will be paid for a vacation.

  • MANAGEMENT CHRISTMAS PARTY
During the first part of December, we have two Christmas parties for our managment teams: one is for the salaried managers and one is for the swing managers. Both of these parties are full of food, fun, and festivities. After enjoying a catered meal, we recognize those who have excelled in a particular area during the past year, and then we play "Lets Make a McDeal" - which is a crowd favorite. Among those recognized during this evening are our Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Swing of the Year. All three of these individuals receive an all expense paid trip for themselves and a guest. Past trips have included Las Vegas, and cruises to the Bahamas and Mexico.
